      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Coordinate Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) requests while ensuring compliance with Medi-Cal and Medicare guidelines
      - Act as a primary point of contact for NEMT inquiries, addressing concerns from members and providers
      - Communicate with NEMT vendors and primary care providers to coordinate necessary forms and transportation modes
      - Maintain and update transportation materials and assist members with scheduling appointments and transportation
      - Perform data entry and manage member information in the case management system, including tracking reports and restricted ride lists

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or GED required; college-level courses in healthcare are a plus
      - One year of managed care experience, preferably in Care Coordination
      - Experience working with the health needs of the population served
      - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
      - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Vocational Nurse
      - Bilingual fluency in Spanish, Tagalog, or Chinese
      - Basic knowledge of care coordination, Medi-Cal, and Medicare benefits
      - Familiarity with San Mateo County community resources such as food, caregiving, and housing resources
