What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform travel-related functions utilizing an automated Travel Management System, including conference planning and execution
- Assist travelers with the creation and submission of travel authorizations and vouchers, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines
- Book travel accommodations and maintain accurate travel records per Federal Travel Regulation (FTR)
- Create, review, submit, and track travel vouchers and authorizations using Concur
- Provide support to federal personnel and travelers, troubleshooting and documenting changes as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associates degree in Management or a High School diploma with Technical Training and 2 years of experience
- Minimum of 3 years' direct experience in federal government and/or military travel services
- Proficiency in Concur and knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR)
- Experience in data collection and preparation of travel-related performance reports
- Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with federal accounting applications and Online Banking
- Familiarity with IT ServiceNow application and Microsoft Project
- Ability to guide travelers in obtaining official government passports
- Administrative experience related to attending and/or hosting conferences
- Knowledge of conference planning and execution
