What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect relevant traveler information and coordinate with the designated travel provider
- Obtain visas and other necessary documentation for countries of assignment
- Draft necessary documentation for travel approvals
- Ensure travel arrangements comply with regulations and travel policies
- Coordinate hotel, lodging, and ground transportation
- Enter purchase requisitions and provide per diem and interpretation services when necessary
- Complete documentation for conference registrations and arrange event spaces
- Provide catering services for conferences and events
- Acquire travel medical insurance for named individuals
- Submit reimbursable documentation and complete associated reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-5 years of related experience in travel management or government contracting
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Intermediate skill in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Knowledge of travel regulations, policies, and precedents
- Ability to use travel approval systems and travel logistics systems
- Attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines
- Knowledge and ability to provide contract support
- Occasional travel may be required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or US Government Clearance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Costpoint ERP system or similar
