      Overview

      We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Women's Health Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in a trainer role. This 13-week contract position requires a professional who is confident in both performing and teaching ultrasound procedures—especially in breast imaging and biopsies. The ideal candidate is ARDMS certified, experienced, and ready to start immediately.

      Position Details
      Contract Length: 13 weeks
      Expected Hours: 80 hours per pay period (full-time)
      Shift: 8-hour days
      Start Date: ASAP


      Key Responsibilities

      Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams as prescribed by physicians, with a focus on breast imaging and biopsies

      Serve as a trainer for other ultrasound techs, providing guidance on best practices and protocols

      Review and evaluate images for technical quality and diagnostic accuracy

      Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality throughout procedures

      Accurately document ultrasound findings and maintain detailed patient records

      Maintain cleanliness, safety, and readiness of ultrasound equipment and exam rooms

      Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care



      Required Qualifications

      ARDMS certification in diagnostic medical sonography (REQUIRED)

      BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

      Proven proficiency in breast ultrasound imaging and biopsy procedures

      Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a women's health or breast imaging setting preferred

      Excellent communication and teaching skills

      Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
