- · Lead and participate in activities like games, crafts, exercise sessions, and other group programs.
- · Provide one-on-one activities or modifications as needed based on individual resident assessments and care plans.
- · Assist with activity planning and scheduling.
- · Communicate with residents, families, and staff about activities and programs.
- · TRD (Therapeutic Recreation Degree) preferred but not required.
- · Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
- · Ability to lead group programs.
- · Ability to work independently or part of a group.
- · Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- · Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
- · Knowledge of elderly ill and/or disabled.
