What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary customer contact in a Collection Services Bureau service center environment
- Assist taxpayers and debtors with inquiries regarding delinquent state agency debts
- Handle escalated inquiries from customers and contracted collection agencies
- Utilize case management tools to update and retrieve account information
- Complete assigned work queue items in accordance with service center standards

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems
- Experience must include a minimum of one year at a Treasury Customer Service Representative level for higher positions
- Ability to work in a remote setting with secure internet access
- Must pass a fingerprint-based background check due to access to Federal Tax Information
