      Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the administration of trust accounts with services and timeliness that meet established client service objectives. Assists the Trust Manager and Administrators with establishing, developing, and retaining all aspects of the trust client relationships.

      Salary Range: The salary range budgeted for this position is $50,000/yr to $60,000/yr and represents the Company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The compensation offered to a candidate may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

      The Company also offers various benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(K) match. Other rewards may include annual performance-based bonuses and wellness days.

      Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Employee is responsible for adherence to all compliance programs and the completion of all required and assigned training by established due dates
      • Employee is responsible for understanding their duties and responsibilities as it relates to the Bank Secrecy Act, ("BSA"), Anti-Money Laundering Act ("AML") and Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations ("OFAC"). This includes understanding any responsibilities outlined under the Bank's BSA/ OFAC Program, participating in any required training and promptly complying with all reporting requirements
      • Understand and comply with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to the position
      • Perform daily trust system accounting data entry and balancing activities
      • Review the trust accounting software each morning and evening for daily transaction processing
      • Perform data entry of approved account transactions including recurring/non-recurring bill payments and discretionary distributions while ensuring that cash positions are adequate to cover payments
      • Prepare routine correspondence and informational forms needed in documenting trust activities
      • Provide client support in the absence of the Trust Administrator / Trust Officer or Department Manager
      • Support sales efforts through the preparation of product information pieces, pipeline reporting, and calls
      • File and image account documents, correspondence, and other related forms
      • Compose letters, memoranda, and other correspondence
      • Attend client meetings on occasion with the Trust Officer / Trust Administrator
      • Coordinate events and meetings
      • Generate trust accounting system downloads and prepare periodic reports for management and others as needed
      • Perform other duties as assigned

      Education and/or Experience:
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in accounting, securities processing, and information systems and applications
      • Minimum 1 to 2 years of administrative support experience
      Skills:
      • Understanding of financial planning concepts, including trust/estate planning, tax planning, investments, insurance, and custom credit
      • Must possess analytical and research abilities
      • Have basic knowledge of accounting principles
      • Excellent troubleshooting, listening, and problem-solving skills Ability to learn banking and trust software applications
      • Ability to prioritize work on multiple projects concurrently
      • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
      • Must have good computer skills, PC & Internet
      • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
