What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Translate concepts and ideas into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI design specifications
- Lead and coach the design team to ensure high-quality deliverables and effective workflow
- Advocate for user needs while balancing business goals and technical constraints
- Participate in ongoing design activities to enhance agile processes
- Act as a thought leader by educating and contributing to the talent pipeline through presentations and events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS degree in a relevant field
- 2-5 years of experience as a UI/UX designer
- Compelling portfolio showcasing clean designs and a strong design process
- Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, InVision, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in UX, Visual Design, or Information Architecture within multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to support and mentor fellow designers through design pairing and critiques
- Experience participating in collaborative team events
