What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Translate concepts, ideas, and visions into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI design specifications
- Lead and mentor the design team to ensure high-quality deliverables and effective teamwork
- Represent the voice of the customer and advocate for user needs while balancing business goals
- Participate in ongoing design activities to enhance processes and foster an agile environment
- Act as a thought leader to contribute to a healthy talent pipeline through knowledge-sharing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS degree in a relevant field
- 2-5 years of experience as a UI/UX designer
- Compelling portfolio demonstrating clean designs and a strong design process
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, InVision, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in UX, Visual Design, or Information Architecture within multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to support and teach fellow designers through design pairing and critiques
- Experience working in dynamic and sometimes ambiguous conditions
