What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Investigate coverage and liability of claims through various channels
- Analyze information to evaluate assigned claims and determine extent of loss
- Process incoming calls and correspondence regarding claims
- Evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims within delegated authority
- Handle UM/UIM files from start to finish as appropriate
What is Required (Qualifications):
- College degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of liability claim handling experience preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Negotiation and claim disposition skills with proven problem-solving ability
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Industry training/designations preferred
- Moderate proficiency with standard business-related software
- Valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing and ability to drive an automobile
