      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist with data analysis and bioinformatics tasks under the guidance of a bioinformatics scientist
      - Engage in AI automated analysis of medical images and genomic prediction for client-owned animals
      - Conduct basic bioinformatics analysis of SNP genotype data and next-generation sequencing data
      - Participate in finite element model analysis of bones
      - Collaborate on research projects involving large-scale genomic datasets

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Background in biostatistics and computation, with skills in Python and R programming
      - Experience with machine learning and deep learning techniques, particularly in computer vision
      - Familiarity with large-scale genomic datasets is highly desirable
      - Solid background in computer science, computational mechanics, computational biology, or biostatistics
      - Availability to work a minimum of 32 hours over the summer, with variable hours during the Fall and Spring semesters

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience in bioinformatics or related research fields
      - Knowledge of next-generation sequencing technologies
      - Understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques
      - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented research environment
