What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support all steps of the underwriting process in conjunction with the underwriting operations function
- Communicate account status and collect underwriting information by liaising with Underwriters and Brokers
- Participate in Monthly Renewal Meetings and provide service for specific account-based needs
- Assist with the new and renewal business life cycle, including submission preparation, rating, quoting, and binding
- Collect claims information and support underwriting management by aggregating production and client data
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an underwriting support role or comparable experience
- Experience with casualty and/or environmental products
- Proficient in UW systems; IMS experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
