What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage an assigned underwriting team and enforce corporate and regional underwriting guidelines
- Model effective underwriting practices across various lines of business and implement strategies for profitability
- Coordinate with underwriters and management in agency planning and review processes
- Seek feedback from agents to enhance their experience and improve the profitability of business relationships
- Oversee team performance and ensure adherence to guidelines and service directives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in insurance or business administration, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum of six years of commercial lines underwriting experience
- CPCU designation or other underwriting-related designations preferred
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
- Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
