What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze underwriting information to respond to quotes, renewals, and policy endorsements within assigned authority
- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and company regulations
- Process endorsement requests and execute pricing strategies for assigned accounts
- Collaborate with internal partners to resolve policy-level issues and provide clear direction for support staff
- Actively engage with agencies to gather necessary information and clarify policy needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience preferred
- Completion of or working towards CIC or AU certifications/designations
- Knowledge of coverage forms and endorsements used in policy construction
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required
- Familiarity with internal tools and administrative systems for effective decision-making
- Ability to stay current on underwriting strategies, regulations, and trends for assigned territory
- Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility to meet customer needs
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
