What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and approve policy renewals, ensuring alignment with profitability and retention goals
- Review account details and assess risk profiles for renewal eligibility
- Communicate with agents and collaborate with underwriters to manage the agency book of business
- Provide excellent customer service to promote renewal retention and resolve agents' concerns
- Handle reinstatements, cancellations, and policy billing inquiries effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum of one year of experience in the insurance industry or a related field
- General knowledge of insurance terminology
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree may be considered in lieu of the required insurance industry experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft products
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles within the insurance sector
