What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Rate, review, and underwrite Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, focusing on nonprofit habitational segments
- Provide customer support and assistance to clients, brokers, and prospects
- Manage renewal processes and assess the best options for clients
- Monitor and follow up on proposals to ensure satisfaction among clients and brokers
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts through cross-selling
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Property & Casualty or Management Liability insurance
- Must obtain a Property and Casualty license within 6 months of hire
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical skills and experience with carrier underwriting systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or Finance, or equivalent experience
- Experience reviewing applications and adhering to underwriting guidelines
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
- Experience in a team environment and ability to multi-task
