Collaborating with product management to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience.
Driving the product design effort for your features across all visual design stages , including concept to final hand-off to engineering.
Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Incorporate feedback effectively into your designs .Collaborating effectively with the rest of company Design community and Design System team.
In the process of obtaining a degree in Psychology, Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, Design , or similar
Completed a user experience design, user experience research, or related coursework
Interested in creating usable and accessible experiences
Solid communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey UX concepts to less familiar stakeholders
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence strategic decision-making
Demonstrated knowledge of Figma or similar design tools
A working understanding of design systems and how they are utilized
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Work effectively as part of a team and independently with a positive attitude
Takes accountability and ownership of his/her own work
Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship
Knowledge or familiarity with user testing and research software Maze

The F5 Distributed Cloud User Experience Design team is searching for a
User Experience (UX) Designer Intern to join the Design System Team.
Working with the F5 UX Team , you will build components for our design library , and work shoulder to shoulder with our partners in the product teams to build a cohesive experience across different products .
You will stand in close collaboration with product managers, other UX
designers, and developers – delivering designs, and guiding implementations .
You will gain experience designing expert user interfaces that solve tough problems.

The hourly U.S. pay range for this position is: $22.00 - $51.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
