      Job Description:

      Responsible for the care of carpet, marble and hard surface floors to ensure the best possible appearance and maintenance at all times.

      Job Focus:

      Focus is on, but not limited to the following:

      · Sweep, mop and polish hard floor surfaces throughout all public areas

      · Strip and wax all VCT floors throughout the public areas

      · Shampoo, extract and/or spot clean all public area carpets

      · Maintain all floors for the best possible appearance and to prolong the life of surfaces

      · Knowledge on how to clean and maintain grout in all flooring

      Desired Qualifications:

      · Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in hospitality industry in a floor care position

      · Understanding how, to cut and polish marble, and other natural stones

      · Strip and wax procedures

      · Able to operate heavy equipment to include but not limited to: High power pressure washers, extraction machines, carpet shampooers, upholstery machines, floor machines, as well as walk behind and industrial ride on machines

      · Understanding of chemicals, their functions, proper dilution ratios etc

      · Must have knowledge of and compliance with departmental policies, services, procedures and standards

      · Ability to operate scissor lift is a plus

      · Must be 21 years of age or older
