What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft core legal documents and manage discovery processes
- Coordinate consultations and maintain accurate digital records
- Update and manage case information using Smokeball, Clio, or PracticePanther
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Perform eFiling within the Florida Court System and monitor deadlines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong written English skills with excellent grammar and punctuation
- Legal experience required, with a preference for family law exposure
- Experience working with US law firms preferred
- Familiarity with Florida Court eFiling preferred or a commitment to learn quickly
- Ability to work independently while maintaining empathy for client needs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with legal software such as Smokeball, Clio, or PracticePanther
- Experience in family law practices
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
