      Valmet is going full speed ahead with its business process transformation project, Leap Forward. This transformation program is rolling out new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and key processes covering every part of Valmet’s business.

      We are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Valmet Logistics System (VLS) Area Key User to support our major Leap Forward business transformation program by taking a key role in the project and building capabilities through execution and success. This role gives you a great opportunity to shape the future backbone for Valmet operations through North America (NA). In this role you will report to Area Program Manager, NA Leap Forward.

      Responsibilities

      The incumbent will be responsible for building VLS capabilities in Supply Chain for enabling the Leap Global Template and Infor LN solution adaptation and implementation in NA. Responsibilities will include the participation in Key User trainings and develop in depth understanding of assigned Supply Chain Project Logistics processes and functionalities built into VLS in the end-to-end process.

      For Supply Chain Project Logistics, you will be validating the template solution, providing input to project team on local training requirements, customizing training materials while training and supporting Local Key Users and End Users. You will provide local support after go-live and participate in system releases and trainings organized for Key users.

      Expectations

      • Master's degree in Logistics or equivalent of a relevant field,
      • 5+ years’ solid experience in Supply Chain and ERPs, or equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Deep understanding and knowledge of Supply Chain
      • Continuous improvement method knowledge and/or certification is a plus
      • Ability to maintain good working relationships across the international organization and the NA
      • Leadership, inter-cultural and motivational skills
      • Organizational skills, and ability to prioritize
      • Presentation and slideshow skills
      • Ability work in complex organizations, processes, and systems to identify change opportunities, ability to address and resolve difficult situations even under time pressure
      • Computer Skills:
      • Microsoft Office - Intermediate Level
      • Experience using multiple applications and ERP Systems – Intermediate/Professional level Data analysis and visualization skills are a plus
      • Ability to travel up to 25% occasionally for the on-site events and intense periods of the rollout phase, mainly in North America and with some international travel
      • Excellent command of the English language
