      Job Title: BIM/VDC Specialist


      Job Description

      We are seeking a dedicated BIM/VDC Specialist to support our project teams by providing detailed models and documentation necessary to complete project scopes. This role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently manage and maintain BIM processes while ensuring effective project documentation and communication.

      Responsibilities

      • Provide models and documents necessary to complete scope as determined with VDC/BIM leadership and project teams.
      • Assemble 3D content modeled by others and model any content not provided.
      • Learn and maintain a productive and efficient BIM process.
      • Create and maintain clear and effective project documentation, such as meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and constraint logs.
      • Support operations with the RFI process for BIM-related items.
      • Maintain working relationships with subcontractors and project teams.
      • Assume responsibility for learning the VDC processes and standards; apply them to assigned projects.
      • Read and comprehend construction documents and project BIM requirements and apply them to VDC processes.
      • Incorporate design updates into project models.
      • Analyze construction documents and models, looking for errors and omissions, and make corrections as necessary.
      • Support operations with self-perform model management and layout.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in structure design, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Tekla.
      • Ability to perform work accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
      • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
      • Proficiency in MS Office.
      • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a construction-related field.
      • 2+ years of construction or related experience.
      • 2+ years of BIM-related experience.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience with Tekla Software, Trimble SketchUp, and BIM-related tasks.
      • Self-Perform Concrete Experience: Demonstrated expertise in managing VDC processes specifically for self-perform concrete projects, ensuring accurate coordination.
      • Practical experience in modeling, detailing, and managing concrete work within a self-perform environment.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $32.21 - $48.08/hr.
