      Vertical Lead (Associate Director / Director) - BAS

      Position Summary

      JSat is seeking a skilled and dynamic Vertical Owner – BAS to manage and oversee JSat's BAS Vertical. The vertical owner is responsible for strategy, performance, and success of the BAS vertical, ensuring alignment with the company's broader objectives.

      Job Responsibilities

      1. Strategic Planning
      • Develop a long-term vision and set measurable objectives for the vertical, including business expansion, new service launches, partnership formations, customer satisfaction improvements, and talent alignment.
      • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
    • Execution and Operations
      • Lead large-scale projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and within-budget delivery by collaborating with project leads and engineering managers.
      • Assess and improve operational processes for efficiency and resource management.
    • Team Leadership
      • Lead, motivate, and support your team; delegate responsibilities and foster ownership.
      • Promote professional growth through training, mentorship, and development opportunities.
    • Financial Management
      • Manage the budget, monitor revenues and expenses, and ensure financial stability.
      • Assess ROI of initiatives to inform resource allocation decisions.
    • Collaboration and Communication
      • Partner with other verticals and departments to align with company objectives.
      • Represent the company at industry events and communicate progress to stakeholders.
    • Innovation and Adaptability
      • Encourage a culture of innovation and creative thinking.
      • Remain flexible to market and internal shifts.
    • Performance Monitoring
      • Establish and track KPIs; use data for decision-making.
      • Gather feedback from clients, employees, and stakeholders for continuous improvement.

      Qualifications

      Education

      • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or related fields; MBA preferred.

      Experience

      • 10+ years in industry with significant leadership roles.
      • Extensive BAS knowledge and experience.
      • Proven leadership in cross-functional teams, strategy, and project execution.
      • Strong leadership, strategic vision, client management, and business acumen.

      Technical Skills

      • Experience in pharmaceutical or GMP environments.
      • PMP/FPX certifications preferred.
      • Deep knowledge of S88/S95 systems, Honeywell EBI, Emerson DeltaV, OSI Pi, Siemens PLCs, and IT infrastructure.
      • Understanding of industrial automation networks, HVAC, facilities, utilities, ERP, Quality Systems, Data Warehouses, and Industry 4.0/IIoT.
