What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle new medical orders from Veterans Administration Medical Centers, hospitals, and physician offices
- Create and maintain patient records and verify benefits for the LifeVest
- Obtain necessary documentation and identify qualifying diagnoses based on payer requirements
- Communicate Purchase Order requirements to the sales field and process credit card transactions
- Execute timely follow-up on all assigned tasks, ensuring compliance with documentation standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in insurance verification and end-to-end order processing, including billing
- 1+ year of experience working with the Veterans Administration preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to navigate multiple software systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree in nursing, business, or other related field preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing, business, or other related field preferred
- Experience in customer service with strong attention to detail
- Aptitude for handling multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines
- Proven organizational and time management skills
