- 5 years of Social Work experience.
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Licensed in the state work is performed.
- Veterinary Social Work certificate preferred. (Must obtain Veterinary Social Work Certificate prior to or once employed).
- Knowledgeable of animal laws within the state.
- Community outreach and community resources knowledge.
- Must maintain confidentiality and uphold the NASW Code of Ethics.
- Demonstrate knowledge of case management/social work practices.
- Familiar with program management and development

What you'll do:
This is an onsite role in our Columbus, OH hospital providing support and short-term counseling for clients and consultation to the veterinary healthcare team regarding animal-related grief and bereavement services. Acting as a liaison between the client and healthcare team by assisting with communication and ensuring the healthcare team’s information is presented in a manner the client can understand and is empathetic to their circumstance.Who you are:
