      Passionate about animal health and the veterinary industry? Tech savvy and love teaching others? We're hiring for Veterinary Software Trainers at IDEXX!

      We’re looking for passionate software trainers for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis to support a critical project rolling out our ezyVet Practice Management software to a significant group of key customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

      Our Software Trainers are responsible for training customers on ezyVet, configuring their ezyVet Software site specific to the clinics needs, optimising workflows, and getting the clinic up and running smoothly. You build important client relationships, problem solve and most importantly provide engaging virtual and in person software training to setup customers up for success.

      Now, it’s important to note this role requires a significant amount of travel. Once fully onboarded you will find yourself onsite with customers throughout Australia and New Zealand for ‘GO-Lives’, at least 2 and in some cases 3 weeks of every month. When not travelling this role is ideally based onsite at our Rydalmere (Sydney) in a hybrid 3 in office, 2 WFH working week. That said, we are open to conversations around remote working arrangements when not onsite with clients if logistics make sense. Proximity to international airports, client sites etc. could make this work.

      A bit more about the role, you will:

      • Training veterinary professionals on how to use Practice Management Software, specific to their role in the clinic.

      • Project manage implementations in partnership with our Implementation Specialists, ensuring each clinic/practice/hospital is confidently utilizing of software and configuration is fit for purpose.

      • Problem solve, understand the clinics needs and workflows to configure the software appropriately

      • Change management support with the clinic

      • Build and deliver webinar based training and configuration curriculum.

      • Manage an assortment of projects all at different stages

      • Collaborate with internal teams to help craft the software, prioritize feature and fix releases, streamline processes and generally build amazing outcomes.

      What you will need to succeed:

      • Hardworking. Are you results orientated and do what it takes to get the job done? We're all about getting the win for the team and our customers.

      • Ability to work and travel freely between Australia and New Zealand

      • A Cert IV in Training & Assessment – but not essential

      • Experience working in a busy environment with strong time and time & project management skills.

      • Experience with project management is great but experience training people on veterinary software and complex workflow even better!

      • Confidence to articulate complex subject matter to a range of audiences.

      • Excellent attitude, a sense of humor and coolness under pressure.

      • Strong attention to detail.

      • Experience in the veterinary industry a real bonus!

      What you can expect from us:

      • Structured onboarding, induction and training schedule run out of Rydalmere (Sydney) and possibly Auckland (NZ). Potentially 4-6 weeks at the beginning the contract.
