What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and oversee all operational functions, including lab services, project delivery, and client reporting
- Implement standardized operating procedures and tools for scalable and reliable execution
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across all operational areas
- Manage facilities planning, ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimizing space for growth
- Act as a senior operational contact for strategic clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering, or a related discipline required
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in scientific operations or technical program management in a CRO or related field
- Experience leading operations in a facility-intensive, regulated, and high-throughput scientific environment
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver results in a dynamic setting
- Strong financial and project management skills, including budget management and operational performance metrics
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree (MS, MBA, PhD) preferred
- Experience building multi-site, global operations and managing international locations
- Familiarity with lab planning tools and cleanroom design
- Prior ownership of EHS programs or laboratory safety oversight preferred
