- The business analyst will consult with stakeholders to analyze, define, challenge and prioritize the business requirements, functional specifications and operational architecture for Pershing X data aggregation.
- Demonstrates expert proficiency in the operational and technical design, development and implementation of data acquisition, data processing, reporting and data warehousing technologies and data management tools.
- Consults and provides guidance to cross-functional teams including client support, product management, technology and data management teams in resolving complex issues.
- Collaborates to support data governance initiatives.
- Liaises with strategic data sources/partners to align strategy and operational/solution needs.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining data management solution user stories and road map/strategy based on client and market input.
- Specific focus on review and analysis of financial investment data, traditional market data and alternative investment data, and in financial data delivery.
- Prioritize requirements and translates into functional design and use case models.
- Prepares and manages the project plan, issues and risks, and is accountable for overall delivery.
- Provides guidance in development of the technical design, test plans, and user documentation.
- Leads implementation/conversion strategy planning and implementation.
- Manages scope and change throughout the initiative utilizing formal change control and requirements traceability.
- More than 10 years of experience in technical and or business financial data analysis
- Large scale data analysis specifically on financial service brokerage/custodial data
- SQL Skills required (Data analysis querying skills/PL SQL skills/Big Data analysis and fix skills
- Experience with modern data analysis skills is preferred (Python, R, Anaconda, Data Lakes, Big Data, etc..)
- Agile experience
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
- Ability to articulate complex issues concisely
- Data Requirements authoring (functional requirements, defining ETL level business rules, etc.…)
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with cloud-based technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure etc.…) is a plus
- Experience with Alternative Investments and Variable/Fixed/Indexed Annuities is a plus
- Advantage/Preference for experience with alternative investment data. Advantage/Preference for experience with alternative investment data
- Bachelor's degree in business or technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is required

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Business Analysis to join our Pershing X team. This role is located in Pune, Maharashtra - HYBRID model.
The Pershing X team is looking for a technical analyst role on the Pershing X Data and Insights team with focus on data aggregation.
Data drives efficiencies and new insights for the Wealth Management financial advisor and the investor. Pershing X is focused on making it easier for the advisors to provide better service for their investors. Aggregation of investment data, investment accounts data, and analytics data enables building a more intelligent and efficient advisory platform.
