Strategy: Lead the creation, execution and reporting of comprehensive communications strategies (internal and external) that align with company goals, brand and culture.
Editorial Calendar: Oversee global communications, coordinate across divisions and audiences to ensure quality and consistency across all owned, earned and shared channels.
Internal Communications: Develop communications to keep teammates informed and engaged, including managing our intranet (SharePoint), newsletters and all-teammate meetings.
Executive Communications: Lead the development of materials for internal meetings, and strategic initiatives that contribute to our thought leadership internally and externally.
Media & Public Relations: Lead global PR to reinforce our brands and increase awareness. Oversee agency relationships and media relations.
Enterprise Coordination: Coordinate communications with enterprise marketing teams, including M&A, investor relations, teammate and crisis communications. Mitigate potential risks to the company’s reputation and disseminate timely and accurate information to stakeholders.
Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of communications initiatives and business priorities.
Divisional Marketing Teams: Work closely with marketing teams to align priorities, coordinate efforts, and leverage stakeholder insights for effective communications planning.
Support Marketing Initiatives: Support the broader marketing team by contributing to coordinated planning and department priorities.
Hands-on Leadership: Be a hands-on leader willing to dive into details and work alongside teammates to achieve goals.
Reporting and Measurement: Define and track communications Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
Experience leading communications teams for a global organization within a highly regulated industry. Experience in the insurance or financial services industry (preferred)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate communications. Experience in producing communications for a public company.
Experience building and leading scalable communications teams across locations.
Strong writing and editorial skills, attention to detail and experience with marketing compliance requirements.
Experience with SharePoint, HubSpot, Proze, Smartsheet, Meltwater, AI communications platforms, and all social media channels

The Vice President, Communications leads global internal and external communication strategies to strengthen brand visibility, manage public relations, and ensure clear, consistent messaging across the organization. This role drives comprehensive communication planning that aligns with stakeholder needs and business priorities across all divisions. The VP oversees content development, elevates the firm’s communication approach, and manages the systems, processes, and teams that support effective message delivery. With a strong focus on exceptional writing, strategic storytelling, and measurable communications impact, this position plays a critical role in shaping the organization’s reputation and advancing its strategic objectives.

Pay Range
$175,000 - $185,000 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
