  Responsibilities:

  • Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.

  • Code solutions and unit testing to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

  • Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause.

  • Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintaining, supporting, and business functionality.

  • Participate and contribute to delivery/release (CI-CD) events (e.g., branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes).

  • Apply OO design & Java programming skills using one or multiple J2EE application servers to design and develop large scale, enterprise-wide web applications.

  • Publish online data and improving consuming experience using Apache Kafka.

  • Develop Junit test cases, performance testing, optimization, and code analysis through Java development of RESTful Services using Spring Framework, Spring Boot and SOAP Webservices.

  • Utilize Relational Oracle SQL/PLSQL and No SQL distributed Cassandra DB Technologies for efficient and scalable data management.

  • Utilize development tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE's, Maven, GIT, and Splunk to streamline the software development process, increase productivity, and improve quality of final product.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

  Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related; and

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Applying OO design & Java programming skills using one or multiple J2EE application servers to design and develop large scale, enterprise-wide web applications;

  • Publishing online data and improving consuming experience using Apache Kafka;
