Gecko Hospitality is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Vice President of Accounting to lead this company’s accounting team. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a history of effective strategic accounting leadership, outstanding managerial abilities, and a profound comprehension of accounting principles specific to the restaurant sector.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise all facets of accounting management, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Aid in formulating and executing financial strategies to enhance profitability and foster expansion.
• Guide and empower a team of accounting experts, promoting a culture of cooperation and distinction.
• Guarantee adherence to regulatory mandates and accounting principles.
• Work closely with executive management to offer financial perspectives and facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Handle relationships with external collaborators such as auditors, suppliers, and financial entities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is advantageous.
• Preferred background in Restaurant/Hospitality or franchise operations, though not mandatory.
• 10+ years of advancing expertise in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Profound familiarity with GAAP and the requisites of financial reporting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal proficiencies, enabling productive teamwork across diverse departments.
