Understand regional and national producer hiring goals, validation goals, and sales processes/methodology to create producer development strategies that support achieving those goals
Manage and report out on effectiveness of producer development programs, and make modifications and improvements as needed
Responsible for integrating all producer development efforts into a cohesive strategy that aligns with broader sales and growth objectives
Ensure producer development strategies compliment broader national sales goals to attract and retain top talent, develop resources that provide producers an unfair advantage and create a culture of accountability
Manage and develop all members of the corporate Producer Development team
Regularly evaluate corporate Producer Development team structure, roles and responsibilities to ensure alignment with broader objectives
Lead the national Producer Development workgroup monthly virtual meetings and annual in person meeting
Represent Producer Development at Regional Sales Leadership meetings
Create vision for annual Virtual Sales Leadership Symposium and collaborate with producer development team to deliver
Oversee Sales Academy ongoing development, delivery, communication, etc.
Provide oversight and direction regarding all digital producer development resources including but not limited to College of Sales Development, MMA University courses, Cross-sell Resources Page, etc.
Collaborate with Corporate Learning & Development Team, Corporate Business Line Leaders and Corporate Marcomm as needed
Facilitate national trainings on a variety of sales topics, as identified through annual strategies and in alignment with the needs of the regions
Meet regularly with regional executive and sales leadership teams to understand regional strategies surrounding producer sourcing, onboarding, training and ongoing development
Suggest and support implementation of producer development initiatives to help regions achieve their goals
Assist regions with hiring and onboarding regional producer development leaders
Request feedback from regions to help create and implement new training programs for producers

A day in the life.
As our Vice President, Producer Development, you will provide overall strategy and leadership for all Producer Development efforts across MMA, including corporate programs and initiatives, as well as regional consulting and support. As the Vice President, Producer Development, you will also manage the Corporate Producer Development Team and collaborate with the Chief Sales Officer, Regional Sales Leaders, Sales Operations and Regional Producer Development Leaders to refine programming, create new resources, as well as ensure the success, adoption, and integration of Producer Development efforts across the MMA footprint.
Defining Producer Development
Producer development entails our ability to effectively onboard, train and develop MMA’s producers towards validation and beyond. This is accomplished through programing, coaching, sales training, technical training, mentorship and more. MMA’s producer development focuses heavily on supporting investment hires, or those without experience, to achieve validation, but also applies to producers further into their careers within MMA.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Experience
• 10+ years of management and leadership experience
• Previous role as a broker and/or sales leader
• Bachelor’s Degree+Defining Success
• Consistent and positive producer experience
• Achieve net producer growth goals and increased rate of validation

The applicable base salary range for this role is $90,000.00-$192,000.00. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
