Nature and Scope of Role:

The Global Health & Wellness R&D team operates across five locations (Spain, Switzerland, UK, Ireland, and USA), dedicated to pioneering technological and science-based products, leveraging cutting-edge preclinical capabilities and conducting a robust clinical research program.
The Vice President R&D Health & Wellness is a distinguished senior leader, adept at steering diverse teams comprised of PhDs and technicians within a multicultural and multifunctional environment. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Science Officer of ADM, this executive assumes a pivotal role within the R&D leadership team.
This inspiring leader embodies a team-player mindset, combining scientific excellence, customer-oriented approach, and results-driven spirit. Leading by example, the VP R&D Health & Wellness ensures alignment of R&D priorities with H&W’s overall strategy and business objectives.

Your role:

• Lead the strategic direction and provide visionary leadership for the R&D Health and Wellness division. Act as a business partner with the Health & Wellness division, aligning R&D strategy with business strategy to drive the development of science-based solutions.
• Support business development opportunities through technical assistance, engagement with key customers, and ownership of technical due diligence for M&A projects.
• Lead and supervise all R&D Health and Wellness global resources, collaborating with key partners across geographies.
• Oversee the application and execution of the innovation process in H&W.
• Ensure alignment of Health & Wellness preclinical capabilities and clinical research program with business and project needs.
• Optimize internal core capabilities and outsourcing strategies, maintaining state-of-the-art scientific standards.
• Uphold safety standards in R&D Health & Wellness capabilities, ensuring a safe working environment.
