What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct individual needs assessments for victims of alcohol and drugged driving to provide emotional support and referrals
- Develop and implement tailored case management action plans, including crisis intervention and grief support
- Accompany victims to justice proceedings and advocate for their rights within the legal system
- Perform community needs assessments to inform the development of victim services and outreach strategies
- Maintain accurate case records and statistical information as per organizational standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field (social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice) with at least one year of experience in victim advocacy or grief support
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
- Reliable transportation for court attendance and a flexible schedule
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a command of the English language
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in victim advocacy and case management, particularly with bereaved individuals
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission of victim advocacy organizations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with data entry experience in online systems
