This is a field-based position that will cover the East Region of the United States.
The East Region includes New England, New York Metro, Tri-State area, D.C. Metro (DMV), North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
Candidates must be willing to travel within their assigned geography, including overnight travel, and for meetings at HQ.
Successfully leads a regional team of Community Liaisons representing our Company at local and regional HIV community events and educational forums.
Recruits, develops, and retains a high-performing, diverse, and customer-centric CL team.
Works with CLs on a consistent basis to evaluate impact, maximize performance, and achieve successful business outcomes.
Observes customer interactions and provide training, coaching, and counseling on performance expectations.
Reskilling and upskilling, professional growth, development, and career advancement.
Promotes inclusivity and fosters a culture of psychological safety and belonging.
Develops partnerships with healthcare practices, Federally Qualified Health care Centers (FQHCs), AIDS Service Organizations (ASOs) and select Primary Care offices while fostering relationships with influential customers, allied healthcare professionals, and thought leaders in the HIV community.
Coordinates with internal stakeholders to create and support regional strategy, objectives, and community initiatives.
Partners with marketing and training to design content for sustainable community programs, patient specialty events, and education improving access to care.
Works closely with DCO counterparts to understand critical issues and opportunities.
Facilitates and advocates for ongoing customer interactions with our Company’s senior leaders.
Manages and deploys resources to ensure achievement of objectives, including program budget, ensuring appropriate return on investment.
Makes local and customized resource allocation decisions to support optimal business results.
Maintains awareness of current and new local, state, and federal healthcare policies and population-health-related initiatives to reduce health disparities for people living with HIV.
Proactively identifies and creates opportunities to drive business results.
Works closely with HQ brand teams ensuring appropriate field and customer inputs are provided to ongoing brand strategies.
Informs and influences the development of national strategies and tactics as a participating member on cross-functional teams.
Develops strategic plan by integrating information received from multiple organizations. Through collaboration, aligns to performance objectives, monitoring and adjusting the strategic plan, as necessary.
Maintains accountability and adheres to our Company’s business practices, regulatory policies, legal requirements, and compliance guidelines.
Bachelor's degree: Health Policy, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or Allied Health fields
First-line leadership experience
Minimum of five (5) years of HIV and/or HIV prevention experience preferably with a patient focus
Travel the amount of time the role requires, including overnight travel (50 - 75%)
Valid driver’s license
MBA or other advanced degrees
Previous experience with Community Outreach, Patient Advocacy, Public Health, or National Health Systems
Recognized supporter of the HIV community
Experience working across multiple functional areas and various stakeholders
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Job Description
Our Company is seeking an Associate Director to lead a team of East Region Community Liaisons (CL) within the Virology organization whose primary focus is establishing and maintaining relationships with critical HIV/AIDS service organizations (ASO) and community-based organizations (CBO) within the US and globally.
The Virology Community Liaison Regional Leader (East) actively collaborates various departments within the company and engage in cross-functional partnerships. Primary responsibilities will be to effectively communicate HIV community and advocacy insights to relevant internal stakeholders. The Virology Regional Community Liaison Leader will work across the CL organization and with the regional Directors of Commercial Operations (DCOs), marketing teams, and other strategic partners.
Due to the dynamic and ever-changing nature of the HIV environment, the Virology Regional Community Liaison Leader must demonstrate exceptional adaptability and agility. Their core responsibilities will be to develop strategic business plans and objectives that effectively support the needs of the community and drive positive outcomes.
The Virology Regional Community Liaison Leader will report directly to the Executive Director, Virology Sales and Community Liaisons, and will hold key positions within the Virology leadership team.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
