What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Model and train staff in the principles and practice of Positive Behavior Support methodology
- Conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses
- Provide direct behavioral treatment to clients through various training and coaching methods
- Participate in on-call rotation for behavioral issues and monitor challenging behavior
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address behavioral issues and provide expertise
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board)
- Minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline
- Documented completion of 10 hours of annual continuing education training related to behavior supports
- Ability to read, comprehend, and effectively communicate instructions and information

- Experience in designing and implementing behavior plans
- Familiarity with crisis management procedures and training
- Knowledge of Positive Behavior Support methodology
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
