What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Model and train staff in Positive Behavior Support methodology
- Conduct behavioral assessments and provide analytic interpretations
- Design and monitor Behavior Plans, ensuring effective implementation
- Provide direct behavioral treatment through various training methods
- Participate in relevant committees and on-call rotations for behavioral issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board)
- Two years of experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Completion of 10 hours of annual training related to behavior supports
- Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline
- Ability to read, write, and present information clearly and effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis management and behavior intervention strategies
- Familiarity with data entry and documentation requirements in behavioral health
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to behavioral health services
- Strong decision-making skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience working in interdisciplinary teams
