      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist physician with documentation of patient's medical record
      - Complete detailed patient history, including past medical history, family medical history, medication history, and chief complaint
      - Transcribe the impression and plan, results of tests, prescriptions, and orders under the direction of the physician
      - Document any procedures performed by the physician or ophthalmic medical personnel
      - Transcribe consultations or discussions with family members
      - Attend required staff and educational meetings
      - Maintain strictest confidentiality

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
      - 2-3 years of Retina Scribe experience required
      - 1 year of experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician (COA/COT preferred)
      - Proficiency in ophthalmic pre-exam workup and testing
      - Thorough knowledge of eye anatomy, diseases, surgical procedures, and ocular medications
      - Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management systems
      - Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
      - Ability to maintain confidentiality

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in screening and technical workups to support provider visit requirements
      - Familiarity with specialized and advanced testing for provider visit requirements
      - Proficiency in EMR entry, documentation, and communication with patients
      - Knowledge of instrumentation setup for in-office procedures and minor surgeries
      - Understanding of coding and compliance procedures
