What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Demonstrate accuracy in scheduling patients and updating demographic information
- Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-payments, deposits, and payments
- Provide office support by answering phones, distributing mail, and maintaining office files
- Uphold safety protocols and promote a safe environment for patients and staff
- Contribute to improving clinical and administrative processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in billing, patient registration, and scheduling in a healthcare setting
- Broad clinic knowledge and customer service skills
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Typing speed of a minimum of 35 words per minute
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Completion of Ambulatory Services training programs
- Ability to type over 35 words per minute
