What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive handoff communication from Medical Observer/Virtual Monitor Tech at the start of the shift
- Identify specific safety risks for monitored patients
- Maintain continual direct visualization of patients either at the bedside or through the virtual monitoring system
- Recognize changes in patient behavior indicating increasing risk for adverse safety events
- Document observations and interventions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to monitor patients at the bedside and remotely
- Completion of on-the-job training
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as a Virtual Monitor Tech or similar role in a healthcare environment
