What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Greet patients with courtesy and respect, explaining procedures and putting them at ease
- Administer oral contrast and provide instructions under the direction of the technologist
- Maintain cleanliness of the exam room and equipment
- Assist in patient screening and safe entrance into the MR scan room
- Assist with lifting and transferring physically challenged patients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of approved MR Technologist Assistant program, including clinical training
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to assist in lifting patients onto the table
- Knowledge and adherence to OSHA regulations and safety standards
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a medical imaging or healthcare-related role
- Familiarity with CPR procedures
