What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with the external Director of Insurance Sales to drive business development
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance-focused advisors in the Vancouver Asian markets
- Meet or exceed sales targets while growing productive advisor relationships for the Individual Insurance Product Line
- Engage with producers through one-on-one discussions, seminars, and case consultations
- Provide case consultation, sales strategies, and product expertise to support advisors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Post-secondary education and/or applicable professional designation (i.e., CFP, CLU, CHFC, TEP)
- Minimum of 5 years of financial industry experience, particularly in marketing to firms and advisors in a life insurance environment
- Excellent negotiation skills and proficiency in office-based software, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- Highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a sales role specifically targeting life insurance products
- Familiarity with the Vancouver Asian market and its unique needs
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals in previous roles
- Ability to effectively communicate in multiple languages
- Experience in virtual sales environments
