**What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):**
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Studio Art, focusing on interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary practices
- Conduct research and engage in creative activities across multiple media areas
- Mentor students, supporting their artistic and academic development
- Contribute to service activities within the School of Art and the broader university community
- Collaborate with faculty and engage with the local and regional art community
**What is Required (Qualifications):**
- Master of Fine Arts degree or equivalent terminal degree from an accredited institution
- A research record and portfolio demonstrating an active practice across multiple disciplines
- At least one year of teaching experience and demonstrated classroom competency
- Strong knowledge of contemporary art, theory, and criticism
- Proven ability to mentor students in studio disciplines and foster inclusive learning experiences
**How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):**
- Evidence of an active creative studio research practice with a national and/or international exhibition record
- Experience with interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary collaborations
- Ability to teach at the intermediate, advanced, and/or graduate level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A demonstrated commitment to expanding the technical and conceptual direction of studio disciplines
