  Things are heating up around the Origin campfire and we have opportunities for experienced Visual Designers to join our creative team on part-time, 3-6 month contracts.

  
  

  Are you fearless, energetic, well-spoken and passionate about design, digital media, visual storytelling, and creative culture? We are looking for Designers who will be creative partners to our writers, video directors, editors, motion designers and social strategists, and know how to work as part of a team with Strategists and Account Managers. We're looking for your clever and impactful visual solutions.
  

  
  

  Job Details
  Job Title: Designer
  Position: Independent Contractor
  Contract: To be discussed. Potentially 3-6 months of approximately 20 hours per week

  Rate: Based on experience

  
  

  Foundational

  • Thorough understanding of social platforms, design requirements and best practices.
  • Confidence in a range of design disciplines including branding, print, social and video.
  • Ability to problem solve and multitask while applying marketing and brand strategy.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Confident public speaker.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, respect and team spirit round things off.
    

  
  Required Experience

  • A few years of working with medium to large-sized brands is foundational to this role. Professional experience in a design/creative agency is an advantage.
  • Experience working with a variety of design authoring software applications including Figma, Adobe Create Suite, Google Slides, Docs, Sheets. (Some jobs may require additional applications which will be discussed before starting.)
    
  • An eye for detail and a passion for beautiful visual solutions is a must.
  • Fine-tuning typography, grids and brand elements should be second nature.
  • Ability to build and prepare design files for final print output with efficiency and accuracy.
