      Amazon is seeking a Visual Designer I to support the development of foundational design systems for our global recruitment marketing initiatives. This role combines creative thinking with design
      fundamentals to help develop innovative visual approaches and scalable tools that support our
      employer brand's evolution.

      You are developing your expertise in brand-focused design. You understand fundamental design
      principles and are eager to apply them in building systematic solutions. You're learning to balance
      creativity with scalability, contributing to design systems that can be implemented across markets.

      You are a collaborative team member who supports the development of foundational creative tools while growing your strategic design capabilities.

      Key job responsibilities
      This role resides on the Creative Team within Workforce Staffing, Marketing. Core responsibilities include:

      • Design Support: Assist in developing visual design systems and templates under senior guidance

      • Brand Application: Create on-brand assets while learning to contribute to brand evolution

      • Production Support: Assist in preparing files for various digital and print formats

      • Documentation: Maintain design system documentation and asset libraries

      • Creative Collaboration: Support creative team in developing foundational tools

      • Quality Control: Ensure deliverables meet brand standards and specifications

      • Technical Execution: Prepare files following established guidelines and processes



      About the team
      Workforce Staffing is responsible for the recruitment of over one million employees within Amazon Operations. Our Global Creative Services marketing team creates content to attract jobseekers to join our hourly workforce. This role provides an opportunity to develop foundational brand design skills while supporting the development of innovative design systems that shape our employer brand.- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field
      - 2+ years of experience in brand design or related visual design role
      - Portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and systematic thinking
      - Proficiency in design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
      - Understanding of typography, layout, and visual design principles
      - Experience with design system documentation and maintenance- Experience supporting brand design initiatives
      - Understanding of design systems and scalable solutions
      - Understanding of user experience principles
      - Knowledge in motion and/or illustration
      - Ability to follow complex brand guidelines
      - Strong attention to detail and organization
      - Knowledge in creative innovation and emerging design trends

      Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $69,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $148,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
