      Work Designation. Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote.

      • If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.
      • If you live more than 50 miles from the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be remote. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.

      What does it take to be successful in this role?

      • Knowledge or experience with Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) including implementation, administration, and integration with CRM, ERP, and other business applications
      • Knowledge or experience with Verint WFM, QA, scheduling, call recording administration
      • Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Teams meetings and calling administration
      • Knowledge or experience with Avaya Aura Communications Manager and System Manager administration
      • Experience designing and documenting telephony solutions, infrastructure, and integrations with enterprise systems
      • Working knowledge of voice and video conferencing network protocols and standards
      • Experience troubleshooting complex communication solutions
      • Ability to work independently as well as within a team dynamic

      Education & Experience Required

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
      • Four or more years of technical communications engineering work experience

      Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

      Education & Experience Preferred

      • Four or more years of Contact Center Systems engineering experience
      • Unified Communication, Collaboration and Contact Center System related certifications

      Travel

      • Less than or equal to 10%
      • May be required for a final interview

      Principal Duties & Responsibilities

      • Creates and maintains documentation as it relates to voice/video network configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
      • Oversees installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices
      • Practices voice/video network asset management, including maintenance of voice/video network component inventory and related documentation, and technical specifications information
      • Monitors and tests voice/video network performance, and provides performance statistics and reports
      • Oversees new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades
      • Participates in managing all voice/video network security solutions
      • Interacts with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors relating to voice/video network products and services
      • Works on projects/systems/issues of medium to high complexity; provides daily operations support and maintenance of voice/video network systems
      • Performs other related duties as required

      Total Rewards

      The salary range for this job is $110,000 - $130,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.

      At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
