      Position Objective

      The International Operations Business Execution Lead Analyst is responsible for driving key Business Execution deliverables enabling the Operations organization to achieve its day-to-day goals and long-term priorities & commitments with focus areas including Governance, Controls, Client & Franchise and People/Culture.

      The role is responsible for supporting the Asia South and Country Operations Heads in driving and executing cross-Operations strategy and goals. The International Operations Business Execution team drives the overall commercial and administrative activities of the business. These tasks include governance and regulatory/audit engagement support, financial management/oversight, KPI/OKR and scorecard monitoring, risk & controls, change and project management (global/cluster/country initiatives), employee engagement, internal communications and managing events, people/talent strategy, among others.

      The role will report into the Asia South Operations Business Execution Lead and will partner with country and cluster Business Execution and Operations Management teams to ensure appropriate governance from a country/cluster perspective, in alignment with global Citi standards and practices.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Actively support the Asia South and Country Operations in driving strategic Operations priorities and its execution with key focus areas on Operations Governance, Regulatory and Audit Engagement, Resiliency & Controls, People, Client & Franchise and Financial Management.
      • Work with Asia South Business Execution Lead to implement Operations projects/initiatives across the cluster/countries. Responsible for monitoring the implementation/ execution of agreed to action plans across Operations. Coordinate with internal employees and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects while focusing on TAT, accuracy, quality of communications and maintain service excellence standards across all transaction.
      • Drive and champion a governance culture in the Operations organization. Ensure adherence to governance guidelines, while outsourcing / insourcing any processes. Liaison with cluster/country partners to ensure all standards are met and then monitor transition in partnership with key country/cluster/functional stakeholders. Assess risk when business decisions are made, safeguarding, organization, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations. Adhering to policies, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
      • Lead key management and/or committee reviews and/or forums for cluster/country Operations Heads, supporting all business process management activities including financial reviews, strategic initiatives, regulatory/audit and business/committee reviews.
      • Timely delivery of commitments and deliverables including materials/decks, updates, communications, townhalls, knowledge documents, newsletters, projects tracker, action items from weekly meetings/ reviews/visits/other meetings.
      • Monitor / track key Operations metrics (KPIs, OKRs) and proactively identify trends/synergies, highlight gaps / issues, ensuring continued alignment to the Operations Operating Model and strategic priorities. Develop, analyze, and maintain metrics for measuring success, opportunities for improvement, management reporting and escalation.
      • Regularly provide strategic research, business inputs, industry outlook and any change in the local and global policies.
      • Actively identifies improvement opportunities across Operations and drive adoption of best practices across Operations processes and teams in the country.
      • Advance Operations organization/people strategy goals including talent development and employee engagement initiatives. Deliver communications and engagement action plans across Operations in the country and/or cluster.
      • Execute and monitor significant cost effectiveness and expense control standards by adopting best practices, standardization and operational efficiencies in financial planning. Ensure that all standards of quality, timeliness and cost efficiency requirements are met for Operations teams.
      • Responsible for working closely with Asia South Operations Business Execution Lead and Country Operations Head, managing and coordinating all meetings.

      Qualifications

      • Experience in Banking / Operations / Business Consulting required. Business Management experience preferred.
      • Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Citi’s core businesses – Services, Markets, Banking and Wealth, including Operations.
      • Operates in an environment that is dynamic, fast-paced, requires creative solutions, quick thinking, multi-tasking, high energy and timely turnaround.
      • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; can positively and productively add impact.
      • Capable of doing extensive research and business reviews to facilitate strategic initiatives.
      • Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise; Proven ability to autonomously create clear written communications (samples of prior work will be requested).
      • Experience in working with global/regional teams to strategize and execute country and cluster level programs/initiatives. Large-scale project or program management experience with the proven ability to develop action plans and drive a diverse group of stakeholders to achieve milestones and deadlines a plus.
      • Strong risk management and control mindset; Change management experience, ability to enhance / automate control processes.
      • Capable of functioning as a collaborative partner and value-added business contributor to the senior management team.
      • Superior organizational abilities and proven ability to deal with ambiguity and complex situations and conflicting priorities.
      • Strong strategic thinking and planning ability for conceptualizing and managing delivery of strategic priorities.
      • Strong investigative and analytical skills for problem solving and ensuring timely delivery of multiple initiatives. Ability to give attention to detail.
      • Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities while executing on numerous deliverables simultaneously
      • Assertive and self-confident to challenge status quo and propose diverse ideas within existing processes and business practices.
      • Strong stakeholder management and relationship management skills with ability to deepen relationships and build partnerships across the various business and function teams of the bank.

      Education

      Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent credentials. Master’s degree is a plus.
