Identify, analyze and build a proactive strategic framework for each of Condé Nast’s iconic brands in its expansion into new business opportunities that connect our audience with product, hospitality and innovation experiences to market each brand’s value, driving relevancy and profitable growth
Lead a global team that efficiently operates the:
Evaluation of potential product licensing partnerships and business development
Structuring and negotiation of the business terms with both speed and holistic POV
Management of all program efforts for external licensee/partner stakeholders and the integrated planning and synergy with internal Condé content and business stakeholders (includes editorial, CNE, commercial, consumer, marketing, product & technology, finance and people)
Create and communicate short/long term business plans to meet and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets with a focus on sustained profitability
Deep expertise in brand marketing, product licensing and partnerships and a proven track record with premium brands and market-by-market operations especially in US/UK
Superb business sense, a strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude
Excellent leader and manager of a team, with the ability to influence at all levels through strong communication skills
The ideal candidate will have an MBA degree with a background in marketing and/or brand management
Proven: You have at least ten years of relevant brand marketing, licensing and business development experience working in strategy roles with a focus on the media, consumer led sectors and proven relationships with our traditional and new competitive set especially across the US market. You have a proven track record in building multi million dollar brand led licensing programs and international business acumen.
A connector: You have a strong US and international network of business development contacts. You know how to manage relationships for the long-term and have a built-in network of people who trust you. The people you have hired value you for the ways you have helped to build their career. Leadership admires you for your authenticity and deep insight.
Strategic: A balance of creativity and strategic thinking guide your decisions. You are an organized multi-tasker with financial modeling and revenue forecasting expertise and a fluency in creative content business ecosystems and a familiarity with legal considerations.
A Leader: You are an influencer, an excellent communicator and a team-player. You have a proven track record in managing people for performance, teaching, mentoring and inspiration.

Job Description
With iconic, multi-generational brands including Vogue, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Condé Nast Traveler, Architectural Digest and Wired, Condé Nast Entertainment is seeking to expand the relevancy, authority and value that our brands’ offer to our global consumers through product licensing and partnerships. The VP, Global Brand Product Licensing & Partnerships will develop individual brand strategies, identify partners and implement a portfolio of experiences that market to and connect consumers to our brands, driving increased loyalty and ultimately enhanced revenue streams. Managing a P/(L) and leading a global team, this role serves as the accountable point for internal/external stakeholders in the development of the product licensing and partnerships business, in the execution of each brand strategy, and in the building and marketing of each brand’s ecosystem across our entertainment mediums, our print/digital journalism, and with our commercial and consumer offerings.

You are:
The expected base salary range for this position is from $210,000-$250,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
