Direct activities of multiple sub-functions (broad based comp, sales comp, executive and equity compensation as well as benefits, wellness, and employee health) across the global organization and multiple levels of management within the company while developing and implementing strategic vision, plans and objectives for the organization in alignment with corporate strategy.
Set overall Total Rewards and Well-being strategy and present recommendations to advise and guide executive level leadership; develop and deliver executive level communication across functions that impact multiple areas of the business
Oversee all Critical Care total rewards projects with highest criticality including approving appropriate specific projects
Attract, Retain and Develop a world-class team across Total Rewards where leadership excellence is front of mind
Oversee Total Rewards and Well-being budgets including making final decisions on investments and ensure funds are utilized strategically to meet Critical Care financial goals
Oversee and manage U.S fringe budget in partnership with Finance
Engage and share best practices with external experts to understand the market and emerging tools, trends and opportunities. Assist in framing the conversation within relevant associations on the future of executive compensation, global equity, benefits/wellness, and payroll. Serve as a SME within external associations
Partner with CHRO on strategic, global HR operating plan annually

Bachelor's Degree in related field
Minimum 17 years of experience in multiple areas including: compensation (broad-based, sales, executive and equity) benefits, and wellness
Preferred: Master's Degree or equivalent
Demonstrated track record in people management
Preferred: Master's Degree or equivalent
Experience working in a regulated industry
Proven successful project management leadership skills
Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making; Executive presence with strategic thinking skills
Experience with supporting CHRO with any and all Board of Director deliverables
Former M&A experience in the space of Total Rewards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
Expert understanding of executive compensation, global equity, benefits/wellness, and payroll procedures with broad based business and industry knowledge coupled with high-level knowledge of company
Expert understanding of related aspects of Total Rewards and Well-being processes and/or systems
Expert knowledge of financial funding models that relate to executive compensation, benefits, and payroll
Demonstrated ability to direct teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
Ability to develop and integrate metrics into programs, initiatives, and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of executive compensation, global equity, benefits/wellness, and payroll to the business
Demonstrated ability to serve as core partner to senior leaders in Business Units, Functional Groups, and Regions
Strict attention to detail
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
Ability to work and excel within a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
Ability to serve as a principal spokesperson for the function/region/BU on highly significant matters
Ability to provide leadership and direction to large cross-functional teams to successfully implement global enterprise systems and related solutions
Develop relationships and leverage them to influence change
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

Serve as an active member of the HR Leadership team , leading the global vision , strategy , and execution of the total rewards ( broad based comp , sales comp , executive and equity compensation as well as benefits , wellness , and employee health ) for the new Critical Car e business . Provide guidance to senior leadership and work with senior business leaders across geographies concerning Critical Care total rewards planning and philosophy . Partner closely with Finance to support the financial growth and sustainability of the new Critical Care business . Serve as an organizational thought leader to sense shifts to employee preferences , understand market shifts and how those shifts impact business and customer needs to adapt Rewards solutions accordingly .

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.
For California, the base pay range for this position is $219,000 to $310,000(highly experienced).
