- Provides strategic leadership for the Health and Annuities segment, aligning operational priorities with enterprise objectives to enhance efficiency, resiliency, and profitable growth.
- Partners with senior leadership to establish long-term vision, define strategic initiatives, and deliver sustainable competitive advantage through operational excellence.
- Oversee underwriting strategy and governance, ensuring policies, practices, and performance standards uphold the organization’s risk appetite, pricing integrity, and quality benchmarks.
- Leads the strategic direction of claims operations, optimizing processes and leveraging technology to strengthen service delivery, compliance, and customer experience.
- Cultivates strong, collaborative relationships across shared services, enterprise functions, and external partners to ensure alignment, interdependency management, and strategic resource allocation.
- Champions innovation and data-driven transformation, identifying opportunities to streamline operations, modernizing capabilities, and drive enterprise-wide efficiency gains.
- Builds and sustains a high-performing, accountable leadership team and workforce committed to operational excellence, organizational agility, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Executive-level expertise in the insurance industry, including health and annuity products, markets, and distribution strategies.
- Strategic operational oversight across New Business, Underwriting, Claims, Sales, Customer Service, and Information Services.
- Proven ability to define and execute product line strategy, underwriting governance, and operational transformation initiatives.
- Strong leadership presence with a track record of driving innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and high-performance cultures.
- Advanced skills in project delivery, process optimization, and leveraging data for enterprise-wide decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical capabilities to influence senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Results-driven, customer-focused executive with financial acumen, talent development expertise, and willingness to travel up to 15%.

- Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
