What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with instructional designers and faculty to design engaging virtual reality scenarios for nursing curriculum
- Develop interactive virtual reality environments using VR authoring tools, including 3D models and animations
- Write scripts and design complex logic for virtual reality scenarios to ensure educational value
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure functionality and effectiveness of scenarios
- Provide training and support to faculty and staff on utilizing virtual reality scenarios in nursing education

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Multimedia Design, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Registered Nurse Licensure preferred
- Proven experience in virtual reality development with proficiency in VR authoring tools such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Strong scripting and storytelling skills for creating immersive narratives
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
